Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Operations, the Regional Director is responsible for the oversight, growth, development and advancement of Athletico’s team members within an assigned region. This role also ensures that exceptional patient care is delivered, relationships are cultivated and advanced, and an acute recognition and focus on exceeding metric and goal expectations is maintained within assigned region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, goal-setting and results of P&L within individual clinics and region to execute business growth. Analyze annual and monthly Profit and Loss statement to drive targeted financial results and top and bottom-line success and growth throughout the region.
- Project business volumes and demands to ensure labor force planning and staffing model fits the business need and influences growth and region/individual clinic profitability.
- Develop high quality business plans and strategies to align with Athletico’s overall short- and long-term objectives. Plans will include relationship building plan for attainment of new patient referrals with physicians and the community resulting as well as advance and promote clinical specialty services with a focus on new business growth from physicians, patients, and direct access pathways.
- Oversee clinical and administrative operations for assigned region including CAPEX expenditures, facility, build-out and potential relocation as needed.
- Collaborate with Resource Center departments to facilitate regional and clinical growth and opportunities within market
- Develop and manage staff through hiring, on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities, disciplinary action and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
- Direct patient care on an as needed basis is expected
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred
- Work Experience:
- 3 years of clinical operations experience preferred
- 1 years of Clinic Manager experience preferred
- Certification/Licensure:
- Current State Physical or Occupational Therapist Professional License
- Current CPR Certification
- Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Proven track record of developing and motivating a high performing team
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Work Environment:
- Consistent with a standard environment, noise level is low with little to no extraordinary environmental factors.
- Frequent travel minimum 3 days per week expected
- Some weekend and after business hours work required
